Two Reverses for 1877-CC Dimes

In answer to the Drummer's question below, here are images of the two different reverse varieties of the 1877-CC dime---just follow the arrows.

Type Ones are scarcer than Type Twos, but both are considered common varieties.

Thank you for this very concise explanation coupled with bright, clear pictures. It has helped clear up my question completely. It appears that my example; 1877-CC dime (NGC MS-66) is the scarcer Type 1 variety.

I have a Type 2. It is NGC MS61. Very nice coin. Doesn't seem to be a way to post a photo

Garry,
Just so you know, there is no way to post a picture in a comment. However, if you posted a new blog, you would be able to upload your pictures into the blog. (This is how Carson-ite was able to respond to The Drummer 0023's question and include the photos of the two reverse types.)
If you have any questions about how to upload a picture into a blog, just email me at mariesgate@sbcglobal.net and I will send you instructions.
