The comment that Mike made about counterfeit pcgs and ngc slabs coming from China shocked me. We will have to be more careful about the coins we purchase.
Yes JS, it's really a shame but alas it's true...counterfeit slabs from PCGS & NGC have been showing up on the market (mostly on E-Bay). More than ever, collectors need to establish relationships with trustworthy dealers. I would like to see a counterfeit PCGS slab. NGC has described the spelling errors on known NGC counterfeits, and it would be nice to know some of the fake PCGS "Diagnostics".
